Position Summary:

The Ecommerce Director is responsible for the planning and execution of sales and marketing goals for This key leader will bring creativity to the Ecommerce marketing function as well as an ability to establish proven best practices, process, measurement and forecasting systems. This leader will be well versed in all aspects of customer acquisition including SEM, SEO, PLA’s, Affiliate, Email, Digital Ads, Social Channels, Loyalty and Reactivation campaigns. We seek a proven leader with a track record for growing these programs. This person will have utilized Lifetime Value to drive customer acquisition, developed reporting, leveraged social media, drive customer engagement and have experience managing a business to a budget and a profit.



  • Lead and integrate marketing efforts across merchandising, creative and operations to maximize business growth, profitability, and impact
  • Execute long-term, profitable volume driving strategies to grow market share and strengthen the brand identity
  • Lead and execute a forecasting methodology that accurately predicts sales, orders, ROI, customer acquisition and costs for all programs
  • Develop and maintain content strategy and promotional calendar that is fully integrated and consistent with the Ecommerce strategy
  • Liaise with internal graphic design and social media team, driving strategy that has one cohesive voice
  • Work closely with CEO, President, COO, and Art Director to ensure high revenue and margin performance and efficient ad spends for PPC, Paid Social, Affiliate, and other customer acquisition efforts
  • Analyze sales performance results and make recommendations for optimization of product offering, price/value relationships and calls-to-action
  • Lead weekly business review meetings to discuss product performance and business results with peers and superiors; coordinate weekly reporting across marketing channels
  • Great communicator and brand advocate who drive enthusiasm, momentum and collaboration around a shared vision for the Ecommerce channels
  • Person will be responsible for optimizing and refining website with outside agencies
  • Responsible for overseeing the execution of email campaigns for both retail and wholesale channels
  • Merchandising the website based upon marketing calendar and analytics
  • Keep current with emerging web technologies, competitors, and industry news through relevant blogs and events



  • 5-6 years experience managing ecommerce, digital marketing, content, and production, for high traffic websites (focus on fashion, beauty or lifestyle is preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications and/or Business
  • Strong passion for the brand and category
  • Solid analytical skills, a penchant for technology and the digital space
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of all marketing drivers necessary to achieve results
  • Strong vendor relations, project management, communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Shopify backend, HTML, Photoshop, inDesign, Excel and back end marketing dashboards (social media, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
